What Carat does in ChatGPT
The Carat plugin is a creative tool for making images, video, audio and social content inside ChatGPT. You can start from an idea or attach reference files, and then plan, generate, review, edit and export the result without leaving the conversation or switching to another app.
It handles portraits, illustrations, product photos, campaign visuals and short video ads, and it can turn a still image into a video. You can upload files to have them analysed, upscale images, make variations, and inspect technical details of a file before choosing how to edit it.
Longer video projects can be built and revised in Carat Studio, where you edit the timeline, preview changes and export the finished video. You connect your existing Carat account, you do not need a separate API key, and every generation uses the same credit balance as the Carat platform.
