What ForeFlight Mobile does in ChatGPT
The ForeFlight Mobile plugin connects your ForeFlight data to ChatGPT, so pilots can ask questions in plain words. It covers weather, NOTAMs, which are official notices about airports and airspace, and forecasts for any airport, such as the current METAR weather report at a given field.
For trip planning, it can recommend a route and altitude using real performance data, and help you pick a good day to fly from the forecast. That turns what is usually several screens in the app into one question and answer.
It also works with your logbook. You can review past flights, log new ones and check your currency, meaning whether you still meet the recent experience rules to fly. Your logbook is managed through the chat as well as the app.
