What Hook Layer does in ChatGPT
The Hook Layer plugin analyzes short-form video accounts inside ChatGPT. Give it an Instagram, TikTok or YouTube account and it reviews how the account is performing, finds the videos that did best, and points out the opening lines and patterns that keep showing up in those hits.
You can also test an idea before filming. Paste a hook, meaning the first line that makes people keep watching, and Hook Layer scores it and offers stronger rewrites. The same works for a competitor's account: it breaks down what is working for them so you can learn from their format.
From there it helps you make the next video. It turns formats that already work into your own hooks, scripts and concepts that are ready to film. The listing says the aim is to understand what works, why it works, and what to make next, not to copy other creators.
