What Sóley does in ChatGPT
The Sóley plugin is a travel helper for Iceland. It brings live conditions from official sources into ChatGPT, including weather, road conditions, safety alerts, earthquakes, aurora forecasts, avalanche conditions, air quality, flights, fuel prices, exchange rates, news and public transport.
It also searches Iceland's official registers of licensed accommodation providers, day tour operators and travel agencies, showing where each record came from and how recent it is. Multi-day itineraries made with local tourism bodies link each stop to licensed operators nearby.
Listings from the register are there to inform you; they cannot be booked automatically. The listing says only two clearly marked demo operators can be booked through Sóley, and no real operator can be booked yet. Operators set their own terms and take payment themselves, and Sóley never handles traveler money.
