What SentinelX does in ChatGPT
The SentinelX plugin lets you look after your servers from ChatGPT without opening an SSH session. You install a small open-source agent on each Linux, macOS or Windows machine, and ChatGPT can then run checks, manage services, read and edit files, run scripts and upload files on that host.
Common jobs are checking uptime and free disk space, restarting a service, following a log, changing a config file or running a quick script. It can also call Cloudflare DNS, Resend and Telegram, so it can change DNS records or send a notification. You can connect several hosts and name them as you like.
Each host has its own allowlist that you write. The agent only runs commands and services you have marked as safe and refuses anything else, and normal file permissions on the machine still apply. Sign-in uses OAuth per user, and the agent's code is published on GitHub.
