What Southwest Airlines does in ChatGPT
The Southwest Airlines plugin lets you look up Southwest flights from inside ChatGPT. You can ask which places Southwest flies to, check schedules between two airports and see the fares for the dates you have in mind, all without opening the airline's site first.
It is handy for questions that are slow to answer on a booking page, such as which cities you can reach nonstop from a given airport, or which day next month has the lowest fare on a route. You can then narrow things down by date or airport.
The plugin shows flight options but does not finish the purchase. When you have picked a flight, you continue to Southwest.com to complete the booking there, which is where your traveler details and payment are handled. You can still go back to the chat to compare other days.
