What Vitamarinaweb does in ChatGPT
The Vitamarinaweb plugin lets you search the VitaMarinaWeb marine atlas from ChatGPT. You can look up a sea creature, plant or other marine species by its scientific name or by the common name you know it by, and get the public species entry from the atlas.
Besides species entries, it can also find recent articles about marine life published on VitaMarinaWeb. That makes it handy when you spot something on a dive or at the beach and want to know what it is called and read a bit more.
The listing is short and only describes these two searches: species entries and recent articles. It works with public content from the atlas, and it does not mention accounts, saved lists or anything beyond looking things up, so expect a simple reference tool rather than a full app.
