What CarMax does in ChatGPT
The CarMax plugin lets you shop for a car or sell your current one from ChatGPT. You can describe what you want, such as an SUV with good gas mileage, and it searches the cars CarMax has in stock. You can then ask for details on a specific car that catches your eye.
If you want to sell, you can ask what your car is worth, for example a 2018 Honda Civic with 80,000 miles, and request an offer on it. The listing says the offers are real, so you can get a starting point for a sale or trade-in without visiting a store first.
It also explains the steps of buying or selling a car with CarMax as you go. The listing does not say how an offer is finalized or how a purchase is completed, so expect to move to the CarMax website or a store for the final steps.
