What Indeed Job Search does in ChatGPT
The Indeed Job Search plugin lets you search jobs on Indeed from ChatGPT. You can look for roles by title and place, such as data scientist jobs in New York City, or connect your Indeed profile so it can find jobs that fit your resume, skills and work history.
For any job, you can open the details and ask about the company behind it, with company information shown without leaving the chat. That helps you decide whether a role is worth a closer look before you spend time on an application.
When you find something you like, tapping apply takes you to Indeed for the next steps of the application. Connecting your profile is optional for plain searches by title and place, but it is what lets the plugin match jobs to your own resume, skills and experience instead of only your search words.
